Easter morning started with a fantastic egg hunt around the house.
The kids are all still excited about hunting for eggs in the morning, however, Aidan is getting more excited about sleeping in rather than keeping up with tradition. Next year, we may have to change it up a bit.
The bunny hid color coded eggs for the kids, which made the hunt more fun.
Owen was usually too fast for the camera to catch!
And this is a rare sighting of the teenage creature that lives in our home.
He's not a big fan of picture taking.
Easter was also Isabella's 12th birthday.
It was sort of weird celebrating her birthday and a holiday.
I think it would be different if it were a yearly occurrence, but since it's sort of random, we don't really have a protocol for it. She was a champ about it and didn't seem to mind sharing her birthday with a holiday.
Owen wrote the sweetest note for his sister.
He super duper loves her.
