Mike's friend Jody came through again and gave us four tickets to the Mariner's game on Saturday night. After missing all the fun last week, I decided I wanted to go, so Mike bought an extra ticket and we set off on a lovely Saturday evening for the Mariner's game. I am glad we got there early because it was little league night and they had a parade around the bases on the field before the game. It was pretty cool being right in there and seeing the field. I was surprised at how small the bases looked. It doesn't look much different than the field that Aidan plays on, except for the fact that the field is so large.

The Mariner's dugout...in the Los Angeles dugout, there were some of the players. Owen and I got to chat it up with the catcher. He even gave Owen some double bubble and the empty bucket that it came in. Big time for a four year old!

It was a pretty intense game...tied up in the bottom of the 9th, the Mariner's were up and the bases were loaded. They didn't end up pulling it off, but it was fun to watch!

We had a busy week. Three of Aidan's baseball games, a mother's day tea, helping out in Isabella's class with the egg drop (not sure I will be invited back since not a single egg survived...next year, I am sending Mike!), my first meeting with PIT crew (where I mentor youth group girls from church), Grandpa's 60th birthday party, soccer, and a Mariner's game!

No wonder Owen was passed out on the couch at 6:00!
Mike managed to score 4 terrace level tickets to the Mariner's game from a friend at work (thanks Jody!). They were such great seats, and it was Owen and Isabella's first professional game. I was bummed to miss it, but with only four tickets, someone had to stay behind.

Owen has grown nearly two inches since Christmas and all that growing takes it toll on you...even at the Mariner's game!

After leaving the game in Seattle, Mike and the kids made their way to Gig Harbor to celebrate Grandpa's 60th birthday party. Isn't this cake amazing?! One of Esther's friends made it. Owen pretty much stayed in front of it the whole night making sure he didn't miss out.

Isabella spent a whole lot of time with her sweet cousin Sofia in the fishing pool.
