Chill on the hill

For the 6th year in a row we headed up for some night skiing courtesy of Alaska airlines.  Friends and family can buy a $12 lift ticket and ski from 4-10 on a Monday night while summit west is closed for this event.  Its barely crowded and a ton of fun to ski with friends.

Owen and I stuck together the whole time.

There was tons of new snow.

These girls had their best time skiing together!

Grandpa and Owen on the chair lift.

Mike and Isabella

The weather could have been better.  Freezing rain made it interesting for sure and I don't think I'm good enough to appreciate fresh powder!

It was tons of fun and we are thankful that grandpa could join us again this year!

January

Isabella has been so sweet as I prepare to go to Uganda in August.  She sat for hours seeing these little pouches for the girls I will meet there.

Morning snuggles

Being silly!

Because of the snow day before Christmas break , Owens class decorated gingerbread houses when they got back.  I love that I get to help!

These two are getting closer to the exact same height!  It won't be long until Owen passes her for good!

Puppy love

Owen made the unicycle club at school and got a unicycle for Christmas.  He's been riding to school on it and is getting pretty good!

All three kids wrestled and no one got hurt.  A small miracle !

We have a bald eagle family that lives close to us.  I love when they come out.

I don't remember a winter with this much sun!

More puppy love

All 3 kids participated in the science fair.  Owens was a hit though with real bugs to sample!

Finally caught up!

It was hard to not get caught up in the excitement of the Seahawks and the Super Bowl.

A Teodoro totem pole!

Bella got her nails done with me before I left for Maui.  It was a fun Christmas present we got to cash in.  Thinking we should do it more often!

Report cards came out, which meant a trip to Krispy Kreme for our free donuts.
We could watch the machine work for hours.  And by we, I mean them.

We got snow round 2, which was a lovely return from my trip to Hawaii.  Nothing like a tan in the snow!  But it was delightful!

It started snowing Saturday night and we made the most of it with a few hours outside that night and the whole day Sunday.  It was the best kind of snow because not a trace was left for school on Monday.

Snow angels

Owen is still loving his snap circuit set.  He made a lie detector and tried it out on the dog.  She failed.

The night before valentines day, I found this lovely note on my pillow. 8 year olds are the best!

In keeping with Teodoro tradition, we had a fancy at home valentine's day dinner.

The kids had a few days off school for mix winter break so we took advantage of it.  All three kids had sleepovers, we had lots of friend time and Owen had a date with mom and dad to see the Lego movie.  He was pretty sure he's never been to a real movie theater. We usually only go to the dollar theater, and even that is rare!  Holy cow movies are expensive!  But it was a fun treat!

And speaking of treats, all three kids had their yearly eye exam and we got to go to starbucks for an after appointment treat.

Owen's Boy Scout troop had a blue and gold ceremony where the theme was be a tourist in your city.  It was fun!

Sophie continues to break the rules and sneak on the couch but she is so darn cute doing it!

And finally, the rainbow loom is getting lots of use from this guy.  I even spent a whole afternoon in a rainbow loom class. Wish I had invented that thing!

November/December phone dump

I'm doing an Instagram dump.  Some of these are pictures from all the way back before Christmas!

Trying out my high heels

Owen and I made gingerbread cookies at Christmas,  they made better dog treats.

Dad even helped!

These two are best buddies

Snow, round 1

The gingerbread house that Bella makes every year with Grandma and Grandpa

The best girls ever!  We are so honored to get to see these girls grow and mature.  God has big plans for them for sure!  They are the sweetest to make and deliver Christmas cookies each year to us.

We had a check up for Isabella.  These three used to fit in the waiting room chairs!

We had a fantastic winter!  So many beautiful sunny days!
