We've just finished another busy week at the Teodoro house. Baseball is in full swing, and all five of us have been busy with church activities. Mostly, with famine related things. Mike and I chaperoned the K-5th graders during their 18 hour famine last weekend. The young kids helped to raise over $2000 for kids just like them on the other side of the world! We were so proud of them!
We do find a little time to unwind and enjoy one another. I couldn't resist taking a picture of the two little ones reading a story before school one morning.

Unbelievably, Isabella celebrated her 9th birthday on the 20th! It seems like just yesterday she was chomping on a pacifier and getting into every cabinet she could find!
She was very excited about this new "Cinderella" dress from Nana and Papaw. Even though they don't get to see the kids very often, they always have a good feel for what they kids would like, and they scored major points with Bella on this one!

Isabella's birthday happened to fall on Wednesday, which to our surprise was also a school half day. We took full advantage of it!
After lunch, the kids and I headed out to Tower Lanes and played some putt putt followed by ice cream at Dairy Queen.

We had chicken for dinner that night, and Isabella got to pull the wishbone. She chose Owen to pull it with and thankfully, she won and got to make the wish!

We prepared for her spa slumber party on Friday evening with four of Isabella's friends.

I had to take a close up of the card that Owen made for Bella. On one of his days off, we played with my silhouette machine and this is what he came up with. I think he did an awesome job!

We started the slumber party off with make your own pizza's.

Dinner was a hit!

Then we moved on to making a foot soak for the girls to take home with them.

We made hairbows next

And each girl got a special basket filled with "spa" goodies for them to take home.

The girls relaxed with face masks and cucumbers

followed by a foot soak

Ahhh...this is the life!
And what's a party without cake? Isabella had a triple chocolate fudge cake.
We capped the evening off with popcorn and the movie "Tangled", the story of Rapunzel.
After lots of midnight whispers, the girls finally got some sleep and woke up to a breakfast of pancakes and fruit. We all had such a great time!
Saturday ended up being such a beautiful day with lots of things to keep us busy. We barely remembered to get the eggs dyed for Easter the next morning!
The kids woke up to full Easter baskets

and a fun easter egg hunt around the house before church and a family dinner at Great Grandma's

It was a busy weekend, but one that was throughly enjoyed as we got to not only celebrate Isabella's birth, but the resurrection of our Lord! Such a great weekend!
