As always, we are keeping quite busy here at the Teodoro household. Sophie is nearly finished with her 8 week puppy training class and is quite bright when tempted with the right treat and the least amount of distractions! Isn't she cute sleeping her her paw by her eye on my lap?!

Isabella also took a huge step of faith and was baptized this Sunday. She did such a great job and we are so proud of her!
And of course, after a long day of celebrating, naps were needed all around!

Things have been busy at the Teodoro house as we settle into a routine. We are still very involved in teaching our kids at church and just this year have teamed up with our friends The Edvald's to help herd children at their Friday night thing. A middle school youth group that meets each Friday at their house. This week, the youth group helped serve dinner to 25 homeless men in the Federal Way area. After serving, some of the boys spent the night at our house. After a breakfast of homemade waffles and bacon, they took out the nerf guns and set off to war.

Mike is obviously taken a "kill shot" as Owen likes to call it.
Brian is prepared to take down the other team from above.
The kids took a moment to pose together and show some unity.
That night, Mike and Isabella went to their first daddy daughter sweetheart dance. It was a very special evening for the two of them.
We invited our friends Grace and her dad Steve to come along with them on their date.
They all had a great time, and the girls felt quite special having all of the attention on them for the evening.

Their daddies each bought them sweet little corsages that they loved.

It won't be long until these girls are sharing secrets about the "other" guys in their life. But for now, we are happy that the focus is on their daddy's.

This is Isabella after the dance. You can tell she had a wonderful evening of dancing and daddy time.

Such a sweet memory for the two of them!

It's official! The place that we called home for the past 10 years, the home that we set roots down in, the home that we brought two of our three children home to now belongs to someone else. It's sort of a bittersweet moment. Earlier this week, we went by for one last visit before turning over the keys.

My mom and dad had a local artist paint the spring mural in our guest bedroom before we welcomed our beautiful baby girl Isabella into this world.
And now she's nearly 9!
Our den suddenly became Aidan's room when we welcomed baby number three into our family. After all, it was prime real estate with the best mountain view.
Aidan was only 2 when we moved into our home. He will be a teenager this year.
Mike's lost most of his hair in this house, spent hours replacing beams and building lofts, leveling yards and building walls and sprinkler systems. Rachel's spent nap times planting and weeding, months throwing up and sick with morning sickness, and hours upon countless hours nurturing the children that are my full time job. We've spent most of our nearly 13 year marriage in this home raising our three children and settling into life as a family of five in the Pacific Northwest far from life in Indiana.
Our home may have been small but it was filled with lots of love, laughter and memories. These walls have been privy to more than one late night conversation filled with angst and frustration at the daily grind of parenthood and the stress on our marriage but also to whispers of love and the desire to expand our family, the joy that our children bring to us, and the friendship and laughter that my husband and I share.

Sweet little Owen will probably barely remember his first home.

He's spent his first five years of life here.
Tumbling on the floors and building legos, taking his first steps and eating his first foods.
The kids needed one last slide down the banister

The stairs that were walked down daily, the excitement that was felt and the eager anticipation at Christmas time as they would round the corner, the babies that toddled up the stairs and were brought up time and time again for diaper changes or to be rocked. The stairs that will see new babies, the walls that will hear new whispers and the neighborhood that will see new neighbors.

We've welcomed countless guests through that front door and now we turn the key over to the new owners. Ready for our new chapter in our life. Goodbye NE Tacoma and Galleon Ct. NE, we have new memories to make in 98354!
