One of the things we have been most excited about in our new house is entertaining more. We just didn't have the room for it in the old house. Mike's brother and his wife just moved back to the area from California, so we hosted a Teodoro cousin dinner at our place. It was super fun, and there is talk of doing another dinner soon.

I love that Erica is totally giving the stink eye to her two kiddos sitting at the bar.
And the daddies of the youngest babes taking over so the mama's can eat.
Esther, of course, taking her place at the head of the kids table. Eggie being the only one smiling and totally cheesing it up!

A super fun time with the 21 (wowzers!! When did that happen?!) local cousins. Mich, Chad, and Olivia, Brett and Kate, we missed you all! There is a seat at the table for all of you when you come home!
And of course, sweet Sophie totally exhausted afterwards. This is usually how she sleeps at night with her little head wedged under the couch.

This is just a little picture into the everyday life with Owen. He's got one sock on (we say the sock monster came), and half perched on the counter trying to reach something. Typical Owen.
The kids get so much joy from having Sophie around.

Isabella has really taken to spending a lot of time with Sophie and will be the first to volunteer to clean up an accident or take her out. Bella and I took a Saturday morning walk to Starbucks and enjoyed some girl time before coming home to read her book report book to Soph.
Bella did some dog brushing and then taped the fur onto her chin like a beard. I can only imagine the fur we will have coming off of Sophie when she's full grown!

We came home from Aidan's band concert to find that it was snowing. So we let the kids stay up late to play in the snow, knowing that the forecast said that the snow would be all gone by morning.
Sophie had a great time jumping through the snow and trying to catch the flakes.

We took the long weekend to head to the San Francisco area to celebrate Geigy's 90th birthday. Our first stop off of the airplane was to In N Out burger. Our first time there, and probably not our last.
We spent some wonderful time with family playing games
and doing crafts. Auntie Amy set up a fun craft for the kids using watercolor paints and shaving cream
when you swirl the paint around
and then put the paper in, it makes some really cool marbleized paper.
We spent the morning at the Exploritorium in San Francisco. It was lots of hands on science fun.
Huge bubbles
Does this room play tricks with your mind?
The drinking fountain toilet sort of makes you not so thirsty anymore.
Aidan and Isabella worked together recording sounds for a radio script
This picture of a picture isn't the best, but you can still see the drop of water and both boys reflections in that drop.

Foggy San Francisco
Can you see the Golden Gate bridge peeking out?
Sort of?
Mike and I had Aidan take this picture like 2 seconds later and the fog rolled in just at the right time and now you can't see the bridge at all!
We stopped at Ghiridelli square for an ice cream sundae. YUM!
And spent some time in Fisherman's Wharf. Again, the bridge is behind us, you just can't see it.
The kids climbed on a trolley

And then we stopped at Boudin's sourdough bread factory. Pretty sure, we could eat our way through San Francisco.
Look at all of that bread!
Bread shaped like turtles even!
From the roof deck at Boudin's you could see Alcatraz in the background
And a trolley
And Fisherman's Grotto
Pretty fun!
You can sort of see Alcatraz through the fog in the background. We had a great trip and a wonderful time visiting the extended family and sightseeing.

We had a chance to take the kids up to Emerald City trapeze in Seattle last week. All three kids had so much fun learning trapeze when we went to Club Med in November, that they wanted to take another shot at it. So with groupons in hand we headed into the city.

Isabella had a chance to show off what she learned in Ixtapa.

If you look closely, you can see Owen way up at the top. Just so you can get a feel for how high up this is. The ladder climb is probably the most intimidating part.
That's Owen
And Isabella
And Aidan ready for the catch
Aidan was the only one in the group to make the catch on the first try (he did have some previous experience afterall!)
And Isabella made the attempt to get caught too.
On the second go round, she got caught!
And a current Teodoro family post isn't complete without a Sophie picture. Sophie seems to love the jucuzzi tub as much as the kids do. She stands on the edge and peers in hoping someone will let her in. The kids thought it was great that she could take a bath with them!
Sweet wet dog!
And the best of friends. Notice the bathing suits...they love to take baths together, but they are getting a bit too old to do it naked, so we instituted a bathing suit policy.
