I found a dog running across a busy road on Saturday. I pulled over and picked her up in a church parking lot, saving her from near death! I took her immediatly to the only open vet clinic on a late Saturday afternoon. She was microchipped but not registered to any owners only a vet clinic. So, we had her all weekend until her clinic was open Monday morning to get the owners information. We all fell in love with little Roxy. Well, we all, minus Mike. What a scrooge! I took her home to her family Monday morning to find a very loving family that missed her a bunch. I also found out, that I quite literally took her from her backyard. I thought I was saving her, but come to find out, she was just feet from her home territory. Mike can't quite quit calling me a dog napper! We loved Miss Roxy dearly while she was with us and hope we can make Mike come around on having a dog of our own. She was a dear sweet thing that we all enjoyed and loved dearly! Too bad she's got a family already. Watch out your dog could be next!

Roxy loved playing fetch. It's no wonder these dogs are called retrievers!
