For our 15th wedding anniversary, Mike gave me an iphone.
We are not those people who rush out and getting the latest gadgets, but as my blog grows, I am finding that I am needing to be up on technology and an iphone could help me do that.
I sort of spoiled the surprise, so I ended up getting it about a week before I should have.
But alas, I love it!
It's awesome to have a camera on me at all times.
Here are a few pictures from the past week.
Hanging out with the Edvalds family is always one of our favorite things.
I love that with teenagers, we can still end up on a Saturday night singing worship music in their living room!
Owen is still sticky sweet at 7, and it's a good thing because there may be one child {I won't name any names} who has turned a bit sour as she's hit 11.
Owen wrote out in nerds candy, this special message
I spent not 1, but 2 consecutive days at JA Biztown chaperoning Isabella's grade and then Aidan's grade.
It's such a cool experience for the kids.
Isabella was the CEO of Nordstrom for the day and even did a Q13 interview.
All mock ups, but a fun dose of what it's really like to work in business.
JA Biztown is set up with store fronts.
This is where Bella spent her day.
Grad season is upon us.
We have several consecutive weekends of celebrating some really amazing young kids and their accomplishments.
This is Aidan hanging out with a few of the church kids from Lifeway at a graduation party.
Owen is my little fish.
We took a 6 month break from swimming lessons, but have resumed them hoping to finish the final push to swim america level 10.
He's been stuck at level 8 for a year now, but it looks like he's perfecting his butterfly and breast stroke and has hopes of moving up to level 9 soon.
He's amazing out there.
He's in a class with kids twice his size and is still lapping them in the pool.
And then, after lessons, he still wants to swim for another hour at open swim.
You would think that he wouldn't want to spend more time in the water, but he still loves bubble baths in our tub nearly every morning.
He's also planted a massive garden in our yard.
We didn't have the best soil for him since we weren't really planning a garden this year, but things are still sprouting.
He's pretty excited about getting his first "snap pea crisp" as he likes to call them.
The other night, we had his butter lettuce in our salad and I cut cilantro for our pico de gallo.
He's kind of handy to have around.
Mike and I celebrated 15 years of wedded bliss on Thursday June 6.
Hard to believe that we are old enough to have been married for 15 years!
While Mike gave me an iphone for a gift, Steve and Val gave us a new niece, which really is a pretty cool present if you ask me.
Adilyn Joy was successfully delivered at the Birthing Inn where Owen was born.
The cousins loved getting the chance to visit with her and see little Adi for the first time.
Next week is the kids last full week of school.
I am chaperoning three field trips so it will be a busy week.
Once I come up for air, I will share some pictures.
